Today has been a WONDERFUL day. Ethical Landscape Consultants was started after Shakopee elected me Mayor to give me more time and flexibility as well as to provide landscape consulting services to property managers.

Beacon_logo stackThe company has been doing well, but never living up to it’s full potential. After nearly 4 years in business, we are using July 2015 as a refocusing point. We are refocusing on customer service, education, content creating, provider management and our community. A LOT more on that to come.

As Mayor, I have learned one major thing about myself. I am extremely motivated by doing good work in my community. Having decided to not run for Mayor again, I realized I needed to incorporate working for good causes into the fabric of ELC.

Today, I am thrilled to announce a charitable partnership with Beacon Interfaith’s Families Moving Forward program.

Families Moving Forward partners with faith communities to provide temporary housing for families experiencing homelessness. They are extraordinary. Homeless families sleep nights at churches throughout the area and come back to a home base throughout the day to take care of children, look for jobs and most importantly – look for housing.

Our #1 Product has been our ELC Pricing Package where we work with successful property managers to eliminate the time-consuming task of contracting work with service providers. We have improved it dramatically and now call it ELC Contract.

Now, as part of our charitable partnership, ELC will donate $20 to Beacon Interfaith for the month of July for every contract we facilitate and $10 per contract thereafter. I very much look forward to growing our partnership with Beacon Interfaith and helping end homelessness.

Thank you so much for your support!!
