Snow Event

12/26/15 Snow Total MspA nice little snowfall made it’s way through the Twin Cities overnight after Christmas. The snow fell primarily overnight Friday ending Saturday morning with 2.3″ officially at the MSP Airport.

Northwest metro received heavier totals with 4-5″ and an inch or less in southeast metro.

Most of the plowing hopefully was completed Friday night/Saturday morning but some would have slid into Saturday evening for many retail centers.

Event Chronology:

  • 10 am – Additional ¼-½” of light snow falls for an hour or so
  • 6 am – Snow ending
  • 12 am – Light snow beginning
